We once again welcomed a volunteer team from Rothschild Bank into the school this week. The school has a wonderful working relationship with the investment bank, as each organisation shares ideas and ways of working together.
We greatly appreciate each year having a week of the valuable time from the entrants of the Rothschild’s graduate scheme. This elite group of young bankers attach themselves to a class for the duration of the week, offering their support and ideas, and hopefully feeling inspired after their time spent at Michael Faraday.
This is a fantastic example of a wonderful relationship between a major financial institution and a local school. The children greatly enjoy their time spent with our graduate friends. In return, Rothschild kindly invite our Year 6 children to visit the City headquarters of one of the most famous names in banking. The roles are reversed, and the children get an insight into the world of high finance.
We are proud to present a selection of photographs below, showing the working relationship between banking and education. Many thanks to our Rothschild friends for being so generous with their precious time.
