Nursery Growth

The Nursery children returned after the Easter break, thrilled to find that our wormery continues to thrive. We made an extra special effort to make sure that the worms had plenty of food supplies to last them through the two week Easter break. We are currently awaiting the arrival of some stick insects to the Nursery. We will be observing their growth, and seeing what type of food they like to eat. Our study of the life cycle has involved looking at tadpoles and frogs. We have seen how tadpoles eventually start to grown arms and legs, before becoming adult frogs. Nursery will be continuing to learn about animal growth when we visit Surrey Docks Farm next week.
