Year 6 Science

Year 6

Year 6 science lessons have involved learning all about the structure of the food web. We have been seeing how every life form depends upon sun and energy to grow. All life form also needs a producer, which usually starts off at the bottom of the food web in the form of grass. Different animals eat the grass, and then in turn, other animals rely upon each other for survival. To demonstrate this complete inter-reliance, Year 6 played a food web game. Each pupil was given an animal in the web. We had to organise ourselves in sequence, showing the relationship between each animal for food and survival.
