Year 3 had a tremendous time at our big day out at the Maritime Museum in Greenwich. We attended a Viking workshop to help us continue with our learning on this particular topic. The children took part in a Viking trade session, trying to work out what goods the Vikings had, and why they might be in need of other items. We also were able to explore other aspects of Viking life, including the opportunity to get dressed up in traditional Viking costumes! Greenwich was a great location for the children to have some fun. One of the highlights was rolling down the huge grass hill! We have been recounting our day out back in class, and continuing with the work on our Viking folders. You can listen to some of the thoughts about the Year 3 trip in the podcast below.
