The new school year ahead in Year 4 promises to offer many fantastic opportunities for our pupils to engage in the new school environment around us. One of the key topics this year will be the changing environment. With our brilliant new school building almost complete, we will be using this as a case study for the children to research and explore the differences between the old and the new. Our literacy and D & T work will also build upon this theme, with poetry inspired by our new surroundings, as well as some models being made of the brand new Michael Faraday school building.
Year 4 will study the Romans as our main historical focus for this first time. In science we will be learning about human body growth, and how our bodies change. Our new class teacher Badgie outlines the year ahead in the podcast below.
