Year 2 have started their literacy work on Misery Moo, our main class reading book for this term. The children have been understanding the main developments in the story, and then recalling how to put these events into sequence. Working in pairs, we have produced a storyboard, showing a picture of each scene, as well as a short paragraph to explain what is happening. We have also been thinking about the main character in the story, Misery Moo. We want to try and understand why Misery Moo feels sad in the story, as well as to think of possible ways in which to cheer the cow up. We will extend this work in the coming weeks to incorporate a drama element into our work. You can watch a couple of our Year 2 pupils explain more about their Misery Moo work in the video above.
