Our Science work in Year 4 for the start of the new term has focussed on growth. We have been learning in particular about bones and muscles, and how these grow during the average life cycle. The pupils have been learning how to place the different bones and muscles on the correct part of the human body. Working in groups, we produced a life size drawing of a Year 4 child. We then labelled this diagram to point out the main bones and muscles. We have been learning why growth is so important within each of us, and at what rate this can take place.
