Year 4 Trip to the Neasden Hindu Temple

Year 4 had an amazing trip to the Hindu Temple at Neasden. We have been learning some of the traditions of the Hindu faith. This was a great opportunity to see at first hand how Hindus worship in their special Temple.

The pupils were able to see some traditional Hindu dancing and costumes during the visit. We were also given a tour of some of the major worship spaces that can be found at the Temple.

Year 4 have started work on writing some thank you letters to our friends at Neasden who helped to arrange the trip. We have decided to make these as colourful as possible to reflect the day of the trip.

Each class member has been asked to visualise what they saw during their trip. This was then reproduced in our designs. Pastels, collages and different textures will be added to the final designs.
