Sophie’s Year 4 class recently staged a very confident Key Stage 2 assembly. Our presentation was themed around Harry Potter.
We have been reading the first book in the series during the summer term. It was also a timely celebration with it being the 20th anniversary since Harry Potter was first published.
The children worked hard in preparation for the assembly. Many of the ideas came from the pupils who worked independently on the presentation.
Scripts were prepared by the class members. Each pupil had an acting role to carry out. The final touch was some of the costumes that were designed at home.
This was a very inspiring Year 4 assembly. The children communicated their love of Harry Potter. This passion was passed on to our friends from around the school.
