Both Year 5 classes dazzled on stage at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the annual Southwark Splash performance. This is a celebration of music and dance in the borough with schools coming together to showcase their talents.
Year 5 took part in the spectacular production of How High the Moon. This was a specially commissioned piece of music and dance. It told the tale of planet rivalry with some magical storytelling.
Joanna and Tersia’s classes have been rehearsing each week during the second half of the summer term. Our friends from Southwark Splash have been welcomed into our school to help with the singing and dance movements.
The grand performance at the Royal Festival Hall on 3 July was an incredible success. It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers coming along to support our talented performers.
We are proud to share a video of the complete performance above.
