Welcoming New Starters in the Nursery!

We are pleased to welcome eight new starters to the Michael Faraday Nursery following the Easter break. Our new friends have been settling in and exploring the Nursery resources.

It has been great to see the older children welcome their new friends. They have been helping the new starters to find their way around our classroom and to share the toys and games.

We have wasted no time in continuing with our learning. The Nursery children have been enjoying the Julia Donaldson Zog story. This is all about a young accident-prone dragon. We will be learning more about dragons throughout the term.

The children have been making the most of the glorious spring weather. We have been playing with the large water containers and experimenting with the flow of water.

The children will soon make a trip to the nearby East Street market. We want to go shopping for some plants and vegetables that we can grow for the rest of the summer term.
