The Reception children are continuing with their fairytales theme. We have been reading Little Red Riding Hood and learning more about the main characters.
Our half term homework challenge was to make a model of the big bad wolf. Some amazing creations have been brought in from home. Each model is unique with some fantastic use of recycling resources.
The big bad wolf has also helped the Reception children with their English work. Each class member has drawn a wolf, and then added some thought bubbles. We have drawn pictures of what the wolf might want to eat next.
Our phonics learning has also benefitted from the book. The Reception children are focussing on the sound made by the letter B. This is ideal for the big bad wolf!
