They Year 6 students have continued their maths SATS preparation after the half term break. We have used the early lessons of the new half term to recap on our existing knowledge.
The pupils have made sure that all outstanding work has been completed. It has been great to see help coming from friends. Pairs of pupils have worked together to reinforce the knowledge.
Different calculations and challenges have been completed. These include dividing five digit numbers, identifying prime numbers, and dividing decimals by 10, 100 and 1,000.
Year 6 also enjoyed a geography general knowledge quiz that tested their maths skills. We looked at some of the major world cities and the size of the populations. Questions were set such as how many more people live in Tokyo than New York?
