Our maths work in Year 4 this week has focussed on multiple numbers. We have been thinking about which numbers will be in the units column when a number is a multiple of ten. The children have been looking out for repeating patterns in this sequence, to help up with our counting.
“It takes nine multiples of ten to get to ninety,” Isabel told us. “To get to one hundred and thirty we would need thirteen multiples of ten.”
Elsewhere in Year 4 and our science work for this week has been to look at the human skeleton. We have been learning and labelling the different bones we find in the human body, and then describing what function each bone performs.
