We are very pleased to be working with the local police on a campaign that will help the children to consider how to behave in the community around us. Some local Officers will be visiting the school next week to talk about anti-social behaviour, and to help launch a poster competition. We are setting the task of designing a poster that will put across the message of being a good citizen in our neighbourhood. Pens will be kindly provided by the police.
All Key Stage 2 children will be encouraged to work on their posters during the half term break. The winner will receive £50 worth of vouchers for HMV, as well as having their poster design printed up professionally. We are very grateful to the local police for providing the children with this opportunity, and we know that the standard of artwork at Michael Faraday will be exceptionally high!
