Our science topic for this term has been to explore how different sounds are made. We have learnt that there are many different ways in which to create sounds. These include hitting objects, shaking objects, blowing into instruments or creating vibrations. We set the Year 5 children the task of designing, and then making their very own musical instrument. We encouraged the children to think about what kind of sound they wanted to make, and how this could be achieved. You can watch a video of the Year 5 children sharing their science work above.
