Michael Faraday School will be closed from the 15th – 19th February, for the half term break. We will re-open for teaching again on 22nd February, 9am prompt! After the disruption that we all suffered with the snow following the Christmas break, the school has continued to make great progress during the past half term. We have been able to take children from throughout the school out on many different trips (Toy Museum, Horniman Museum, Imperial War Museum) as well as welcoming guests such as the local police into our school.
We held a very successful fund raising afternoon for the Haiti Disaster Fund, and our school football team celebrated their most successful period ever in the history of Michael Faraday.
The new school building continues to amaze us all with the speed in which it is being built. The main structure is now in place, and we look forward to the new school opening in September of this year.
We wish all members of the Michael Faraday a relaxing break, and we look forward to welcoming the children back at school on 22nd February to continue with our outstanding work.
