Ahead of a visit from a French theatre company, Year 3 have been brushing up on their French language skills! We are very proud of the availability of foreign language teaching that we are able to provide at Michael Faraday. With our visiting actors performing only in French, we are confident that Year 3 will be able to follow the production! We have continued with the French theme across other subject matters this week. The children have been researching the country, and trying to find out the main fact.
“The colours in the French flag are red, white and blue,” Johnny told us. “The Eiffel Tower is a famous landmark in the capital city of Paris. France is famous for cheese and croissants.”
Year 3 have been practising their French language work by singing some French songs. You can watch a short video featuring our French language specialists singing in the video above.
