Year 5 Greenwich Trip

Year 5

Year 5 greatly enjoyed their trip to the Royal Observatory at Greenwich this week. We have been looking at many different space exploration themes, as part of our upcoming performance for the Southwark Splash festival. Our pupils will be acting and singing in a production that tells the story of the solar system. Our trip to the Royal Observatory was the perfect opportunity to take a closer look at space exploration. We watched a modern day version of the Icarus story. Instead of being attracted towards the sun, the main character was thrust into a black hole! We also witnessed a planet show, giving us plenty more inspiration for our space based drama production.
