Morning registration in Year 6 was interrupted one day this week by an incredibly loud crash from outside! We all went onto our Year 6 balcony, just in time to see the old school house being bulldozed! This was a great moment to watch, as well as being quite sad. All of our Year 6 children have many happy memories of working and learning in the old school house. As well as being a quite place for study, the kitchen was also used for many seasonal cooking activities, such as making pancakes or cooking Christmas food.
With the demolition of the remains of the old Key Stage 2 building due to take place towards the end of term, the future for this space is for a fantastic multi-sports play area. Basketball, tennis, football and athletics will all find a home in the grounds of the old Michael Faraday school house!
