We welcomed into our school this week a very special visitor to talk about the friendship links that Michael Faraday now has with a primary school in Nigeria. We were thrilled when our friend Ifeanyi agreed to speak with our pupils about his recent visit to Ohe Primary School in Ugbodu, Nigeria. Ifeanyi kindly delivered to our Nigerian friends a collection of letters that the children had written. We also donated some school resources, which we were able to see being used during a presentation that our guest gave during assembly.
Ifeanyi talked to the children about this particular part of Nigeria, explaining all about the wildlife that is around, the type of food that local people eat and what type of work the adults in Ugbodu carry out. He wasn’t short of questions to answer from our keen pupils! We are incredibly proud at Michael Faraday of this friendship link that we now have in place. We will be able to exchange ideas with our colleagues at Ohe Primary School, as both organisations strive to become closer together. Many thanks to Ifeanyi for so very kindly giving up his time to come and talk to us.
