Our science lessons in Year 6 have been spent investigating the speed that it takes for a substance to dissolve. In particular we have been interesting in finding out what factors may help to speed up this process. Working in two different groups, Year 6 set up two separate experiments. Our first aim was to investigate if stirring the fluid speeded up the time it takes for salt granules to dissolve. Our second experiment involved using large and small granules of salt.
