We are bidding a very tearful au revoir to Jennifer, our French friend who has spent the past eight months teaching languages throughout Key Stage 2. Jennifer came to Michael Faraday on placement from a French University in Paris. When we spoke with Jennifer upon her arrival, she stated that her aims were to work with as many children as possible and to help to provide an understanding of the French language.
Two terms later and all of this has been achieved – and so much more! All of the pupils that Jennifer has worked with have expressed a great enthusiasm for the language. We now have in place a wonderful starting point in which to continue to teach French at Michael Faraday.
We are hopeful that Jennifer will one day return to our school, whenever she is passing through London. Her valued skills have been greatly appreciated by both pupils and adults – bon voyage and merci beaucoup!
