Nursery Science Work

The children in the Michael Faraday Nursery have been having great fun growing and observing plant growth. We planted our own runner beans, and then took special care of the plants to see how they would grow. We have been learning in the Nursery how important it is to water our plants, and to make sure that they receive plenty of light.

We have been monitoring the growth each day, and seeing how different conditions might have an impact. All of the Nursery children will be taking their runner beans home over the short half term break. We will continue to water them, and then see what the changes are like when we return for teaching.
