We treated both of our Year 4 classes to a day out at Westbrook beach just before the close of the summer term. This was to say thank you for all the hard work, and many happy memories that the Year 4 pupils have provided us with throughout the school year.
The weather was a slight concern, but the sun made an appearance, just as we were approaching the beach. This meant that we could all enjoy the sea, sand and friendships that we have in our class. As well as splashing about in the sea, we had great fun digging in the sand and trying to bury our teachers.
The highlight of the Year 4 day out was a huge football match that took place on the beach. A fantastic end to what has been an amazing academic year. Good luck in Year 5!
