Misery Moo is the main reading book that our Year 2 pupils have been studying since the start of the new term. This is a very special story all about friendships and looking after other people. Another strong message is that of what makes people happy and sad.
We have used this story as the basis for settling in during the new term. Year 2 have enjoyed some drama sessions exploring these themes in the book, as well as producing some artwork and masks inspired by the Misery Moo characters.
Year 2 have also started some their RE work for the autumn term learning all about the Jewish faith. We have been able to look first hand at some Jewish artefacts. A plan to the beautiful Synagogue at Hyde Park is planned for later in the term.
