We have been continuing our settling in work in the Michael Faraday Nursery. With so many new friends to get to know better, we thought that it would be a good idea if we could all make our own individual face masks. We wanted the children to think about their own appearance – what colour is their skin, eyes and hair etc? Using the classroom mirrors, each Nursery pupil observed their own appearance. We soon realised that although we all look similar, we are also very different!
Our next task was to transfer this knowledge on to our masks. Everyone started off with the same white paper plate, but we all finished off with something looking very different. You can watch a selection of new Nursery starters explain a little more about this early settling in work in the video above.
