Year 4 have been carrying out some superb science work based all around electrical circuits. We started off our session by understanding what is meant by a basic circuit. The pupils learnt that we need a power source, a conductor and a component which will receive the power.
This lead us to discuss a little more about what is meant by a conductor, and why insulators may be useful in some situations. Finally we learnt that in order for a circuit to work correctly, in needs to be complete. A couple of our bright Year 4 scientists explain more about these ideas in the video above.
