We have been continuing our work in the Michael Faraday Nursery based around the book What the Ladybird Heard. The children have been getting familiar with some of the main characters in the book, and recognising what each individual animal sounds like.
Working in small groups, we have read and talked about some of the ideas in the story. We encourage as much group participation as possible. You can see some of the Nursery children enjoying What the Ladybird Heard in the video above.
The children have also been learning how to sing the Ladybird song. We are happy to publish this below so that you can also take part at home.
Elsewhere around the Nursery and the children were all thrilled to see the arrival of the snow recently. We had great fun playing in the Early Years space making our own snowmen.
