The children in the Michael Faraday Nursery have been continuing to learn all about different animals. Having already explored farmyard animals in great detail, we have now moved on to look at the type of animals that we can find in the jungle.
We were very fortunate to receive a recent visit from a kind parent who has previously lived close to a jungle habitat. The children were able to listen to some of the jungle stories, as well as ask questions about how life in the jungle might be different to our own lives living in London.
We have used a space in the Nursery to create our own jungle habitat. The children have decorated the area with some of the sights that we can see in the jungle using a variety of collage materials.
Finally we are proud to present below a brief photo gallery displaying some of the wonderful jungle face painting designs that some of the children recently enjoyed displaying for the afternoon. Can you recognise the animals?
