Both Nursery classes at Michael Faraday School have been working hard across a number of different projects. We are incredibly pleased with the sensible way in which the children have taken to caring for the chicken eggs that we are monitoring in an incubator.
The children have also made some tremendous progress on a speech and language project that has been using technology to help develop our verbal skills. Working alongside the school’s technology partners at audioboo, we are recording the thoughts and ideas stimulated by the memory boxes that the children have been making.
It’s not all work and no play however in the Nursery. To reward the children after a particularly successful morning session spent making their recordings, both Nursery classes headed off to the nearby park. We are happy to share the photos below of the children enjoying their time in the sun. We will update with some of the audio recordings on the school website over the coming weeks.
