We are thrilled to welcome our two new Nursery classes to Michael Faraday School. For many of the children this will hopefully be the start of a happy and worthwhile learning experience as they develop their talents and abilities as Michael Faraday pupils.
We currently have one intake for morning Nursery teaching, and a separate set of children for the afternoon. All children will soon be able to experience one full day per week spent in the Michael Faraday Nursery.
There is much to learn, play and have fun with in this available time! All of the children have wasted no time in discovering their own favourite learning resources and toys in which to explore. The recent fine weather has meant that Nursery had been able to make the most of our many fine outdoor activities such as the big bikes, the climbing frames and the messy paint area.
The children are adapting to the new school routine and rules. We are encouraging basic school skills such as taking responsibility for our own book bags, and self-registration with the sticker system each morning.
We will soon start to work with the children in small groups on their Early Years introduction to the key learning areas. A fantastic start to hopefully eight years of continued learning and advancement as Michael Faraday pupils!
