Our Year 4 pupils represented Michael Faraday School with wonderful professionalism at the recent Concert for Winter staged at the nearby Shakespeare’s Globe. This is an annual event where a selection of local schools are invited to perform a suitable festive song in front of an invited audience.
Regeneration and Re-growth were the main themes for the concert this year. Year 4 performed a unique interpretation of this idea, singing contemporary versions of We’ll Meet Again and the White Cliffs of Dover. We played our ukuleles on the famous Globe stage to help us with our music.
Year 4 performed perfectly during their time on the famous Bankside stage. Many thanks to Pauline and Kul for preparing the pupils so well.
