Joanna’s Year 3 class recently visited the ISIS Education Centre at Hyde Park. This is a nature sanctuary in the centre of the park that helps young people to learn and explore more about the natural environment.
The pupils had a number of activities to complete during the trip. We wanted to see how rainwater is measured at the ISIS Centre. We were also interested in the way that the temperature is taken and logged each day.
Year 3 also took part in a session learning about cloud formation. We have continued this work back in the classroom by drawing some of the different cloud formations that we have been learning about.
