The students have only just started to read this book and so are busy making early observations about the main character of Bradley. We have seen that he has few friends at school, and he behaves very differently when he is at home.
To help the pupils understand the motivations of Bradley, we asked them to complete a Dear Diary entry. This requires the writer to put themselves in the mind of the main character, and then write a diary piece to explain how they are feeling.
