We are incredibly proud of our successful Year 6 maths team at Michael Faraday School. Four pupils recently took part in a friendly maths competition against other local schools. Lenny, Shameika, Jake and Eylul represented our school at the Enrich event that was held at the nearby Explore Learning Centre in New Cross.
This event was run over three days and formed the first round of heats as part of a national competition. Our team of Michael Faraday mathematicians were the top team over the entire three day period!
The team has had plenty of support and help from Bridget. The questions were very tough and were all themed around founding different solutions for various maths problems. We will now progress to the next round. If successful during the second stage then we will be invited to the grand final at Cambridge University.
