The Year 1 children have started to read The Man on the Moon as our main class book for the spring term. This is a fantastic story that looks at the life of Bob, a spaceman who lives on the moon.
Bob has a very special job that involves keeping the moon clear of rubbish and litter. The children have been learning how the aliens are very naughty as they often leave their litter behind.
The children have been creating their own moon collages as part of this learning. Various materials were used. We asked each class member to think about what the surface of the moon might look like, and how we can represent this in out artwork.
