The Michael Faraday School Dance Club recently put on an amazing display in front of family and friends of the pupils. The expert tuition comes from class teacher Zoe. Each week Zoe guides the young dancers from Year 1 and Year 2 through some new routines.
All pupils across these year groups get a chance to take part. The Dance Club rotates the membership each term so that everyone can enjoy the sessions. The dance routines taught are demanding, yet plenty of fun.
The high point each term is always the grand performance. Plenty of effort was put into the costumes and face painting for the performers. Three routines were showcased during the recent display.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the young pupils to also develop their self-confidence. Zoe and her team help the children to concentrate on how to command the stage, and to feel proud of their dancing skills.
Many thanks to all of the parents and carers who very kindly came along to support the Michael Faraday Dance Club. We are proud to share some short clips from the performances above.
