Plenty of festive activities have been taking place around the Michael Faraday Nursery in the run up to the Christmas period. The children have been counting Christmas stockings to help with their maths learning. We have also been wrapping up presents, and playing with the Nursery snow as part of our creative learning.
We would also like to thank the parents and carers who were able to come along to a couple of our recent events. The Nursery end of term show was a wonderful occasion for all of those that took part. The children were able to stage a short performance, showcasing some of the learning that has taken place throughout the autumn term.
We hope that the maths workshop for parents and carers was also a useful exercise for the adults that took part. The teaching staff were able to explain how we approach maths learning in the early years at Michael Faraday. If you would like any further information, then please do speak with any of the teaching staff.
New learning activities are already being prepared for the new term ahead in the Michael Faraday Nursery. We will be building upon the fascination that the children have with Stick Man by exploring many different art activities using sticks and natural resources.
