Both Year 3 classes staged an uplifting recorder concert just ahead of the Easter break for parents and carers. We have been having weekly tuition on the descant recorder from Danny since the half term break.
The concert started with the children singing the three basic notes that we have been learning to play: A, B and G. This singing was then transferred over to our recorder playing skills.
Plenty of actions were also added to the many songs that were played. The audience members were also asked to sing along to any songs that they knew. We would like to thank the parents and carers that were able to make the concert, as well Danny for her brilliant recorder tuition.
We are also proud to share a photo gallery of the wonderful pencil cases that all Year 3 children have been working so hard on during our recent D&T sessions. Each class member was asked to design their own personal case.
Careful consideration had to be given to the materials and colours that would be used. The pupils have greatly enjoyed working on this project. The end results are quite stunning
