The Year 6 School Play is making fantastic progress at Michael Faraday School. The details of the performance have been a closely guarded secret over recent weeks. All was finally revealed however with a class assembly to explain a little more about the play to our friends from around the school.
Go For Gold has now been revealed as our grand performance. As the name suggests, this is a production that explores ideas associated with the history of the Olympic Games.
The Year 6 assembly shared some of these thoughts with our friends from around the school. The pupils have been looking at the history of the Olympics. A short presentation then followed. The assembly came to a close with a rendition of one of the songs from the show.
Year 6 have been rehearsing Go For Gold for a couple of weeks now. All of the pupils now have their parts and have been busy learning their lines. The first start to finish run through of the play recently took place.
