Year 6 are almost ready to stage their grand end of year school play in front of family and friends at Michael Faraday School. The final week of rehearsals has seen the students put the finishing touches to Going for Gold – a play that tells the story of the history of the Olympic Games.
The scenery is now in place; props and costumes have been fitted. The final run throughs have involved the actors feeling at ease in their stage positions and wearing the various outfits. Plus there has been a focus on adding as much energy as possible to our performances!
Going for Gold will have two shows on 14th July. Ticket details should have already found their way home for Year 6 parents and carers.
