We would like to congratulate both Year 5 classes at Michael Faraday School for once again taking part in an incredibly successful Southwark Splash performance at the Royal Festival Hall. This is an annual event where different schools in the borough come together and work towards an end of year show.
The theme for the performance this year was Shakespeare. Both Year 5 classes have been rehearsing for a number of months now. Our friends from Southwark Splash have been visiting our school to give the pupils professional coaching.
Sarah-Jane’s class were involved in the choir for the performance; Esther’s class took on some very challenging dance moves.
It was wonderful to see so many parents coming along to the South Bank on the evening to help support our school. The feedback that we received was fantastic. The organisers and audience members agreed that this was the best Southwark Splash productions so far.
You can find out a little more about the Michael Faraday involvement in the short recording below.
