Michael Faraday School was proud to celebrate International Week towards the end of the summer term. This was a celebration of the many different cultures that we share at our school, and an opportunity to learn about the history and traditions of others.
Many events were organised around the school across the different year groups. All pupils benefitted from taking part in a series of Spanish workshops. The children should now be familiar with the Spanish versions of Goldilocks and the Three Little Pigs stories.
Quizzes also took place in each class. The pupils were questioned on their knowledge of different flags from around the world, and also an A-Z and counting challenge using non-English languages.
International Week came to a close at Michael Faraday School with a traditional dress day. All pupils were encouraged to attend school wearing the costume of their home nation. This was an incredibly colourful occasion, as you can see from a selection of the photos below.
