We are proud to welcome the two new Nursery classes to Michael Faraday School. All of the children are now settling into our school routine, and learning a little more about all of our new friends.
Parents and carers are of course welcome to stay with the children throughout the morning until they feel settled. The teaching staff will also shortly be organising one-on-one sessions with parents and carers to find out a little more about the interests of each class member.
The Nursery school routine usually starts with our breakfast sandwiches. The children have been enjoying making their own sandwiches and choosing their favourite filling.
The different play areas in our Nursery have also been explored. The teaching staff have found that music is one of their favourite learning areas. We have already met Billie, our new music teacher at Michael Faraday School.
We are also happy to be able to provide weekly Yoga Bugs sessions with Selina. This is an opportunity for the children to stretch and use movement whilst using their imagination.
The Nursery children will soon start work on our first class reading book at Michael Faraday. You Choose is a book that encourages the children to talk about their likes and dislikes.
