On Wednesday 13th June, the Michael Faraday Choir participated in the Music at the Tower Festival which was a week-long event, open to the public at the historic Tower of London overlooking the Thames.
We sang as part of a massed choir of hundreds of children.
Our songs were specifically chosen to reflect the importance of the building – during its history it has been a prison, a palace, and a fortress. It still houses the crown jewels, which the choir visited before our performance.
Many families came to watch us, and hundreds of tourists visiting the popular venue had a fantastic afternoon listening to so many talented children singing so beautifully.
Congratulations to our choir; you were the best there!
