Year 6 are taking a break from their end of year play rehearsals by becoming Ninja Knitters! Many of the pupils have started work on knitting various patterns under the expert guidance of our knitting Leader Ragini.
Some of the more dedicated knitters even took along their knitting needles during the recent school journey! We are now spending any spare time in-between play rehearsals to help perfect our knitting ninja skills.
The Year 6 play itself continues to improve as we begin the countdown to showtime on 16th July. Most of the actors are now familiar with their lines. Attention will soon turn towards details such as the programme and ticket distribution.
The pupils will be providing a sneak preview to our friends in Key Stage 2 as part of a school assembly. We will be acting out scenes one and two as a short taster of what is to come.
Finally in Year 6 we have been happy to welcome a series of visitors from secondary schools into our classrooms.
Many of the teaching staff from the schools that the pupils will be moving on to in September have visited the Year 6 pupils to help with the transition process.
