Proud Year 5 Gardening Student Displays his Work

We are happy to share some photos from our very keen Year 5 gardener! The green fingered pupil has been given the responsibility to look after the plants that are growing inside and outside.

The current crop includes chillis, radishes, herbs, violas, hyacinths and tulips. We will use the radishes and herbs for some classroom cooking once they have grown.

Our Year 5 gardener attends to the plants each day. He makes sure that they are watered and are receiving enough sunlight. A daily logbook has been kept to measure the growth. Some written work has also been produced with a focus on descriptive language.
