The Michael Faraday School Choir is continuing to grow in reputation. We have received invitations to perform at two very special events as we approach the festive season.
On the 6th December the Choir will be performing at the Royal Festival Hall. This is part of the Schools Carol Singing with the Organ event:
“Start your day in the Christmas spirit by singing carols and holiday songs from across the ages and around the world, with backing from the historic Harrison & Harrison organ at Royal Festival Hall. In this interactive concert for schools, sing classic and modern favourites and discover the wonders of how organs work and what they can do.”
We will be returning to the South Bank a week later on 13th December. This time the Choir will be taking part in the Winter Choirs Season at the Queen Elizabeth Hall:
“From seasonal songs, to classical, choral, jazz and pop, choirs of all shapes and sizes serenade audiences throughout the run-up to the holidays.”
Each week the Michael Faraday Choir meets under the expert guidance of class teacher Joanna. The Choir is now firmly established at our school and within the wider community.
We are able to share below some of the backing tracks for the Choir members to work with as they practice for the two festive shows coming up.
