Year 3 are looking at online identity as part of Safer Internet Day. We held a class discussion to understand what information is suitable to share online.
The starting point was online identity. We saw how sometimes people present a different version of themselves online. The children agreed that it is OK to be yourself online.
This led to a conversation about freedoms that we have on the internet. We discussed how people should feel free to be themselves online, but safeguards and caution are also needed.
The pupils are working on some Safer Internet Week posters. This is part of a competition organised by ICT Leader Zoe.
